Groundwork for Change: Crow’s Nest Ranch Sober Living Board Meeting

The amount of gratitude that I have for how much Elevated Academy of Martial Arts has given to both myself and Crow's Nest is immeasurable.

This place fosters a level of community second to no other gym I have ever trained in.

Every person on our board of directors for this non-profit I met through training here so it should be no surprise that we prefer to hold our quarterly board meetings on the mats.

What makes this group even more special to me than the average board of directors, minus everyone's aptitude to cinch in a good choke, is that each person has their own story as it relates to addiction. Some are in recovery and others are family to those in recovery. So we all understand the need that our community has for what we are doing here.

It was great to have everyone in the same place and not just checking in via phone call or in a Zoom room, but actually meeting, interacting, grappling, and truly enjoying each other's company.

It also helped me get their headshots done for our board of directors page I have been meaning to build out on our website for the past year...so that's coming soon!

All The Best,

Jordan Brandt, Founder
