Outpatient Treatment for Substance Abuse & Mental Health In Lake Tahoe, CA

Lake Tahoe’s First and Only Substance Abuse & Dual-Diagnosis Outpatient Treatment Facility

Most PPO Insurance Plans Accepted For Outpatient & Mental Health Treatment

For some people struggling to overcome substance abuse, taking months off from work or school to attend a residential treatment program isn’t practical. So a local – yet still effective – alternative is needed.

As an outpatient of Crow's Nest Ranch, you can work with our Clinical Doctor of Psychology and Director of Outpatient Services to develop a program of individual and group sessions to meet your specific needs.

Our program is designed to serve Truckee and Lake Tahoe, California residents who need the flexibility of drug and alcohol treatment services without the stress of leaving behind their life for months.

Our Outpatient Options

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Designed for people who need more care than an outpatient program but cannot commit to full-time inpatient care. In a PHP program, patients receive treatment in the morning and evening with the ability to continue living at their home. This program provides group and individual therapy, dual diagnosis, and skill-building

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

A consistent, and work-friendly schedule of both individual and group sessions. Our Intensive Outpatient Program is built around evidence-based therapies. Primary areas of focus are (but not limited to): substance abuse, trauma, process addictions, co-dependency, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and more.

Continuing Care &
Alumni Community

Each patient exits our program with a relapse prevention plan to help with their long-term recovery. We begin developing this plan with the patient and include family where best fit. Every post-treatment plan will feature a daily sober living journal with tips and reminders, access to our weekly one-on-one counseling, and options to continue in weekly groups.
